What is Green Camp?
Green camp for children aged 7-16 - the highest standards of non-formal education
Green camp works in the direction of non-formal education, organizes children's development camps, adventure camps and hikes.
Our priority is to create a free, healthy and creative environment, where importance is attached to informal relationships, mutual respect, personal development of the child and developmental activities tailored to his needs.
Youth workers work with the children of Green Camp, as well as certified (ski) instructors during the winter season. Our staff is constantly undergoing trainings in the direction of positive upbringing and raising their qualifications.
History
The idea of establishing a green camp was born in the process of raising children, after we realized based on personal observation that school and pre-school education did not give the child/adolescent the opportunity to develop the basic and very important skills that being in the camp includes.
The first "banking activities" were held 5 years ago for the children of the music school, who were on tour in a seaside resort. The idea of planning activities came out of nowhere and turned out to be quite fun and interesting. It was from here that we got the idea to give an official face to this type of gathering and turn it into a camp.
In its first year, Green Camp hosted 3 groups, and now there are winter and summer camps of 12 groups per year.
In the last two years, the camp has had the opportunity to have its own equipment and professional instructors, which is quite a big step forward.
